Many
different types of flowers, shrubs, and vines attract hummingbirds.
They especially like anything red (they'll even check out your red
laundry hanging out to dry) and pink or fuchsia. They also prefer
flowers that have a tubular or trumpet shape. They are able to get
nectar from plants that other pollinators can't reach. In addition
to planting flowers that attract hummingbirds be sure to provide
them with a feeder or two. They also need fresh water but they don't
like birdbaths like other birds. They prefer a stream or spray of
